Strong Love 2014

Strong Love 2014

I found myself standing in the doorway between the old temple and the new one. The door shut behind me on it's own. It startled me a bit becauseI wasn't expecting it at all. I looked down at my long whit dress, it had small daisies embroidered all over. It was sleeveless and went down to the tops of my feet. I am 8 years old in this encounter, and as always, barefoot. I looked around the massive room, I noticed on the throne where Jesus would sit was a large purple tapestry laid over the top of it. I thought it was odd, but the tapestry was beautiful. I heard my name whispered in a breeze that gently touched my face. I turned to the hallway on my left and began to walk. When I got to the garden door I heard my name again whispered. I stood for a moment in the doorway before I stepped out. The view was so amazing, so beautiful. So I stepped through the doorway onto the stone patio leading to the garden.  I touched my right hand on the doorframe as I passed through. I stood in the middle of the patio and again looked around. So peaceful, I thought as a light breeze wrapped around me. I continued to walk out towards the wall at the end of the patio. It was also made of stone and it was a little higher then my waist. I went to step on the path before me but I saw dark clouds begin to fill the air. The wind picked up and the tree's began to bend almost touching the ground.  My hair whipped around and I was almost knocked to the ground by the wind. I cried out for I AM, I was so terrified and didn't know what to do. I stepped behind the stone wall and held tightly to it. The wind again increasing in strength, to the point it almost took me down. Again I cried out again for I AM, but I couldn't even hear my own cries. I began to sob and the clouds grew darker. Then I saw Jesus walking towards me on the path from the lake. The wind tossed his hair back and forth but he was not effected by the power of it. As he got closer to me the wind seemed to get stronger.  The wind knocked me to the ground. I fought to get up but it was too strong. Jesus stepped onto the stone patio, he looked down at me with a smile. Still his hair being tossed by the mighty wind but it did not knock him down. He reached down with his hand and as I began to stand with his help the wind knocked me to the ground again. Jesus raised his hand and the wind slowed down to a soft breeze. I slowly stood up and looked around, the dark clouds began to part and the sun began to shine. I looked at him and said "I was so afraid! Where where you? That storm was so scary!" Jesus  took my hand and kissed it, he smiled and said "That was not a storm child....that was a small taste of the power of my love for you." I looked around and asked "Why was it so scary?" He said "Because you still don't understand it. My love for you isn't just snuggles and kisses, its a jealous and righteous love too. It's a love that demands justice and will over take all area's of fear and darkness in your life. My love is gentle and strong, soothing and raging, my love is true and right." Jesus touched my face softly and said "It will be whatever you need in this moment and the next. Not all storms bring destruction, like not all rains bring a flood....look for the beauty behind it, in it and around it. That's when you will begin to recognize me in the midst of it. I never left....you where never wondering, you where and are where I have placed you. Don't worry about what people think....your mission, your purpose is already shining. Your purpose is already apparent to others, you just can't see it." He took my hand and we walked the path to the lake. When we got there he  stepped down close to the waters edge, and motioned me to come closer too. He touched the top of the water with his finger and said "If you knew the ripples you have already made, the lives you have connected and touched, the slow change beginning in others because of the love you have shown them....if you knew, you would not question your worth. You would look at your life differently. If you where worthless I would not laid down my life for you. The ripples you have made in this life have gone out and as they go out they become bigger and reach more." He sat down in the grass by the lake and I sat next to him. Jesus looked out over the water and said "You have such a beautiful future laid out before you, lives you are yet to touch...don't give up. Stick close to me, learn what you can and keep pressing forward. I know somedays seem dark and hopeless...but soon those days will end." He leaned over and kissed my head "Be patient child, I have it all worked out."
